Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 8 - 10 hours

Ingredients:

4 or 5-pound pork roast, boneless or boneful, that fits in your slow cooker.

Salt

Pepper

Spices as desired

Onion

One cup of water

BBQ sauce, optional

Equipment:

Slow cooker

Aluminum foil

Step 1. Sprinkle salt, pepper and whatever other spices that tickle your gizzard on all sides of pork. Do this after you unwrap it from the plastic that the store wrapped it in.

Step 2. Wrap the foil around it.

Step 3. Slice onion in thick chunks and place at bottom of slow cooker

Step 4. Place wrapped roast on top of onions.

Step 5. Turn cooker on "low" and go to bed or go to work. It's kinda the same thing anyway.

Step 6. Wake up or come home from work about 8 to 10 hours later and turn the cooker off. Remove roast and let cool until you can handle it without burning yourself too bad, and dispose of the onion/pork runoff juice unless you're very thirsty. In which case, pour yourself a glass of fresh water, drink it first and then dispose of the onion/pork runoff juice.

Step 7 Shred the roast with your fingers, it'll be quicker and it will fall right off of the bone, if there are any of those buggers in there to begin with. What you'll end up with is moist, flavorful pulled pork that will last for days, unless you bring it to a friend's house in which case it will be gone in a couple of minutes! Some friends might like barbecue sauce with it, and that works! Add to taste.
